Linux: Install Apache

1. Download the Apache Tomcat Archive file from Apache Tomcat Official Website
http://tomcat.apache.org/download-70.cgi
2. Type the command below in terminal
# tar xzf apache-tomcat-XXX.tar.gz
3. Type the command below to start Apache service
# cd apache-tomcat-XXX
# ./bin/startup.sh
Sample output after Apache service started:
Using CATALINA_BASE: /opt/apache-tomcat-XXX
Using CATALINA_HOME: /opt/apache-tomcat-XXX
Using CATALINA_TMPDIR: /opt/apache-tomcat-XXX/temp
Using JRE_HOME: /usr
Using CLASSPATH: /opt/apache-tomcat-XXX/bin/bootstrap.jar:/opt/apache-tomcat-XXX/bin/tomcat-juli.jar
4. Load the page in browser
http://localhost:8080/

5. Setup user account by adding the lines below into "/opt/apache-tomcat-XXX/conf/tomcat-users.xml"

Once the Apache page loaded, clicked on the "Manager App" and then login with the credentials that you have set in the "tomcat-users.xml".

For my case, it works after I restarted my machine.
